Heavy cast construction for maximum rigidity. The stationary column and the "C" frame ensure optimum shock absorption. Thermal stability is increased by fixed and pre-tensioned ball screws on all axes. Stiff and thermally-stable spindle with lifetime-lubricated spindle bearings. Fanuc 0i MC or Siemens 810 D control unit, as desired. Longitudinal travel (X axis) = 1020 mm, transverse travel (Y axis) = 540 mm, vertical travel (Z axis) = 540 mm. Machine weight 5.5 metric tons. The basic version of this machine is equipped with 3 axes but an additional 4th axis can be mounted.
